This month sees two of my recent articles go live online:

The first is a character interview for the website Women Writers, Women’s Books. This takes an incredibly fun format, whereby I interviewed the main character in The Ends of the Earth: Mary O’Connor. Despite spending thousands of hours with Mary in my head and on my fingertips, I’d never thought about what it might be like to sit down and chat with her. You can read my interview here.

The second is a piece for Writing Magazine about mental health and how it makes its way onto the pages of my novels, without it ever being a distinct plot-point. It’s a subject very close to my heart, so I do hope you will enjoy reading my essay here.
